Are you searching for a really good restaurant where you could eat the best juicy steak out there? We have been at the same place while trying to find the best restaurants in Belfast until we came upon Deanes Meatlocker in Belfast City Centre and tried their perfect steak out there. While trying to bring you the most beautiful restaurants to be found in Belfast - and help the locals as well as tourists to know where to eat - Michelle stumbled upon this restaurant and she not only ordered her plate and enjoyed it, but she also got the chance to have a talk with the chef who gave her some good tips - shared with you in the video! The choice of food might differ from one person to the other but we should all agree that when it comes to steaks then those juicy medium done ones are considered the favorite for lots of people and that is why we definitely recommend Deanes Meatlocker as one of the best in making this type of steak. As a tourist, choosing the restaurant will happen haphazardly, according to the one you come across when you are at the peak of your hunger, and since the city centre of the city is where most of the touristic locations and landmarks are situated, it is definitely a recommended place to head to because that will also be in the same area. According to the chef of Deanes Meatlocker, there is one important tip which we brought back to our homes and to our followers; when you cook any type of meat out there, you should let it rest for about 20 or even 30 minutes because that would bring it more juicy and it would be even easier for you to chew - you might be just like us and you might have never let that rest at home, once done, immediately in the stomach :-)) so next time let it rest. We were asking ourselves - and the chef - one important question: will we ever be able to cook the same juicy steak we got at the Deanes? And we both knew the answer; we most probably will never reach this same level and bring a good steak as this one we received in the restaurant, it is prepared in a totally different way that is mixed with love and passion for what is being done in addition to the actual cooking spices that the restaurant tends to use. The passion we received from the chef while speaking about food and cooking made us believe that it really helps in bringing the best dishes out there. Deanes Meatlocker is one of the oldest restaurants to be found in Belfast City Centre, it has been there for almost 20 years or something and this should be enough to prove that it can truly bring the best dishes out there with the help of the chefs who work in the place. The chef told us that the first important step in preparing such a steak as the one he served us is to source the best piece of meat that is found out there and which would suit that person's pocket money; it doesn't have to cost them a fortune in order to end up with a good meal at the end, but the most important thing is to know the source of that meat which you are eating in the end. To move forward with cooking, the piece of meat should be found in a room temperature place with cooking it in a hot pan and cook it with oil and butter until it starts to come to that brown color that you prefer. Bringing the steak after cooking either well done or medium done will always differ from one person to the other and there is no right or wrong way in cooking your meat, you just have to follow the initial steps and bring your favorite steak out. Deanes Meatlocker is definitely now one of the restaurants in Belfast City Centre which we would recommend for all those searching for a place to have their favorite perfect steak and it now stands as one of our top favorite.
