Skateboard Dog-Check out the Belfast Bulldog. Local dog on a skateboard-Fun Dog Tricks :-) #bulldog

Skateboard Dog-Check out the Belfast Bulldog. Local dog on a skateboard-Fun Dog Tricks :-) #bulldog

A break from the usual - some fun today! Who does not love seeking a skateboard dog?! Check out this Belfast Bulldog who loves to skate. When we seen a dog on a skateboard - we knew it was something special. Training dogs is not too easy - depending on the owner's skill, patience and the dog breed. It can be fun to try and teach or train your dog to do some easy or fun tricks...so they and you can have fun together! We were filming in Belfast and came across Victor - a bulldog on a skateboard - in fairness we seen Victor on our friends channel (Tom McClean) a few days before - so we were not shocked when we seen a bulldog skateboarding around the city! :-) Anyway - enjoy the dog on his skateboard, good luck with the dog training and your journey to find things to train your dog. Maritime Festival-A Mini Tall Ships-Amazing Ships Festival-includes some of the Tall Ships-Belfast-

Forget visiting a maritime museum when you can visit a maritime festival or Tall Ships! Actually see the beautiful ships in person - climb on board - talk to the crew...get a feel for what it must be like to sail these out into open waters. Often more than 40 Tall Ships sail to multiple cities around the world and give us ordinary people a chance to see these monsters of the sea close up. They visit cities around the UK, Ireland, Europe - and towards the USA and Canada. Admission tends to be free - so really worth going out for a day and exploring these. This video was shot when Belfast City held the Maritime Festival and some of the same ships that take part in the Tall Ships visited the city again. City Hall Belfast -360 Degree Video-Glimpse inside the beautiful City Hall Belfast-tempted 2 visit?

Belfast city hall is an impressive building in the centre of the city - a great meeting point and it is steeped in history. In 2017 a new 16 room tour was opened up showcasing some more of the history from the city - well worth a visit. Construction began in 1898 under the supervision of architect Sir Alfred Brumwell Thomas and was completed in 1906 at a cost of £369,000. The city hall in Durban, South Africa is almost an exact replica of Belfast's City Hall. It was built in 1910 and designed by Stanley G. Hudson, who was inspired by the Belfast design. Abbey Ruins and Hidden Castle-Moor Hall

Abbey Ruins and Hidden Castle-Moor Hall

Abbey Ruins in Co. Mayo and a long forgotten castle were were so lucky to find..not even signposted :-) Moore Hall - famous big house, sadly now abandoned from the Moore Family in Mayo/Ireland. There is an interesting story about this building and the previous owners which we will write up shortly. The property is regarded as the ancestral home of the Moores of Ireland - the most famous being John Moore the Irish Politician. At the time of the Irish Rebellion of 1798 a force of 1,000 French soldiers under General Humbert landed at Killala. Moore joined the French as did a considerable number of his tenants. After the Battle of Castlebar which took place on 27 August 1798, General Humbert, on 31 August 1798, issued the following decree, which inter alia appointed John Moore as the President of the Government of the Province of Connacht: Some of the best locations around Ireland / Northern Ireland and further afield. Lough Carra-County Mayo.Small lake beside Lough Mask.Between Ballinrobe,Ballintubber and Claremorris. We stayed in a lovely Airbnb that overlooked this lake...we arrived close to sunset.....too good an opportunity to miss. The scenery was stunning - the mountains in the backdrop. We used the area as our base for visiting the historic sites in the area. It is meant to be a nice fishing lake - but I did not get to test this :-) In Ireland Lough means - large freshwater area - basically from Irish it means "a lake, pool". There are a few small towns in the area - but the lough is in the area called Partry - between Ballintober, Ballinrobe and not too far from Claremorris.
