Dundrum castle is a Norman Castle in the town of Dundrum outside Newcastle on the Belfast road. Dundrum Northern Ireland has seen plenty of activity in its years - there is a known failed siege in 1205 - but it was captured by King John in 1210 and has had improvements and extensions through its different owners times.
