Portballintrae - Beautiful Beach Village in Co. Antrim Beside Giants Causeway Rain or shine - Portballintrae is a beautiful place! I am working on moving there :-) :-) someday!! It has the Giants Causeway walking distance to the east and Dunluce Castle to the west. South is Bushmills and the old Bushmills Distillery. What more could anyone ask for? A population of less than 800 people - and the wild Atlantic Ocean crashing in......Runkerry Beach is the beach itself - there is the Hotel Bayview Portballintrae in the town also. Definitely when planning a visit to Northern Ireland Portballintrae should be on the places to visit and discover. The amount of things to do in the area is excellent. Some of the best locations around Ireland / Northern Ireland and further afield. A travel blog/vlog of the hidden treasures that are on our doorstep.
