It has the Giants Causeway walking distance to the east and Dunluce Castle to the west. South is Bushmills and the old Bushmills Distillery. What more could anyone ask for? A population of less than 800 people - and the wild Atlantic Ocean crashing in......Runkerry Beach is the beach itself - there is the Hotel Bayview Portballintrae in the town also. Definitely when planning a visit to Northern Ireland Portballintrae should be on the places to visit and discover. The amount of things to do in the area is excellent.
