El Manasterly Palace - Manasterly Palace History - Rhoda Island - History of Egypt - Egyptian Travel The Manasterly Palace, which is found in the south western corner at the end of Al Rawda island, is the remaining part of a monument built by Hassan Fouad Al Manasterly Pasha in 1851. What drives visitors to the stunning piece of Egyptian history is the main rectangular hall that directly opens to the outside through a door in the southeastern wall preceded by a four-step marble case. As well as its rich history, the palace is hailed for its beautiful ornamented ceilings of wooden architecture designs.
